“My wife and I have been residents of Dellrose for almost two years now. We weren’t planning on uprooting our lives back in 2017, but we had recently become empty nesters with our youngest of four daughters married on New Year’s Eve 2016. We were content with stabilizing our finances and figuring out what we were going to retire on.
Sherri is a Realtor who was one day working with clients looking to build in this new subdivision ‘way out’ past Highway 290 & 99; I was with her one afternoon in July of 2017 as she walked a Plantation Home still under-construction on Farm Garden Lane, and we both fell in love with it. We acted immediately, contacting the builder and asking about other lots available for that floor plan. We settled on the end of that very same street where Sherri had also placed three other clients, putting our money down the second week of August 2017.
We absolutely love our neighborhood. It’s quiet, clean and safe, and everyone is so friendly and kind to each other. Despite what many people first think, this area is not as ‘far out there’ as it may seem. We can leave Dellrose and get to nearly every type of business needed along 290 without even so much as a full stop light. I know that for Sherri and me, anytime that we’re further in toward the city and we make our way back home, the relief of stress and tension as we pass by the outlet mall and exit Bauer is surreal.
Dellrose is far enough away from the hustle and bustle but convenient to so much. The subdivision is logistically well-planned for both vehicle and pedestrian traffic and the common areas are very well-maintained, especially the awesome pool and clubhouse. It’s very exciting to see the pool area that used to seem so far away from all of us slowly morph into the center of Dellrose as the new sections of homes are built and additional families claim their stake of the vision. With six grandchildren and counting, this is our ‘Grammy & Pawpaw’ house and we look forward to years of happy memories with both family, friends and neighbors.”
