As young Dellrose students enjoy their summer break, Lowe Elementary, our new onsite school, is gearing up for the 2024-2025 school year.
The brand-new, onsite K-5 school in Dellrose recently named Kristen Eckerman as its first principal. The veteran educator has served her entire educational career at Waller ISD and is currently the principal at Evelyn Turlington Elementary. She was named Elementary Principal of the Year in 2019-2020 and 2022-2023. Eckerman plans to continue to grow the Waller ISD tradition of family-focused learning communities at Lowe Elementary.
The new Lowe Lions will receive an excellent education in an environment tailored to help them focus and have fun. The school has a stage, gymnasium, kitchen, cafeteria, and large media center. An outdoor playground and many opportunities to engage in exercise and sports will keep kids active. Parents will appreciate the designated areas to drop off and pick up children when needed. Of course, Dellrose students will be able to walk or ride their bikes to campus.
Teachers are already getting prepped for the first day. Parents can pre-order school supplies now, so kids are ready to go. Details are on the Lowe Elementary Facebook page.
Having an elementary school in Dellrose is a win for parents and teachers alike. Kids will have an easy time getting to know other students because those students will also be neighbors. Parents can easily check in with teachers on their way to and from work.
