To help celebrate the love that we have for local retailers, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite places to eat and shop near our community. Some of the businesses below even came highly recommended by our homeowners right here at Dellrose.

1. Alvarez Natural Soaps

The name says it all — Alvarez Natural Soaps offers face soaps, body scrubs and hand lotions that you’re sure to love. Every product is made from natural ingredients, right from home. If their name sounds familiar, it’s because you’ve seen them at some of Dellrose’s very own community events.

2. Nu Hope Essentials

NuHope Essentials is dedicated to making your vehicle smell nice with their ‘car scent fresheners’. They also make cowhide purses and beaded air fresheners that make for unique gifts. Look out for them at local farmer’s markets or at future Dellrose events.

3. O My Cakes

O My Cakes is a Hockely bakery that’s led by a self-taught baker who decided to turn her baking passion into a full-time job. They specialize in custom cakes, cupcakes, cake pops or any other decadent treat. Take a look at their beautiful and delicious creations here.

4. Eat Good Houston

If you’re looking for plant-based foods that are equally as delicious as they are healthy, try Eat Good Houston at the next Dellrose Live on the Lawn concert on July 24. This unique deli-style eatery offers smoothies, teas, salads, wraps and sandwiches — some of which are also gluten-free.

5. Mona’s Munchies

Mona’s Munchies is a popcorn lovers’ dream, offering a variety of candied and savory gourmet popcorn flavors for all to enjoy. Order from Mona if you’re having a family movie night or if you’re just looking for a tasty treat.

6. Uncle Louie G, Italian Ice & Ice Cream

If you’re looking for a way to keep cool in Texas’ warmer temperatures, grab some ice cream or ices from Uncle Louie G’s. With over 70 flavors to choose from, there’s something to satisfy everyone’s palette. Look for them at local events or book them for your own summer soiree.

7. Yorkie’s Bake Shop

Yorkie’s Bake Shop was designed with the sweet tooth in mind. Cookies, cupcakes, donuts, cakes, brownies, cinnamon rolls — you name it, they’ve got it. Made from scratch, Yorkie’s can accommodate any dietary restrictions that you have.

8. Yalis Cookie Haus

Yalis Cookie Haus makes custom decorated cookies for any occasion, from themed birthdays and bridal showers to holiday celebrations and corporate events. Just reach out with your preferred cookie theme and flavour and Yali will bring your vision to life.

9. The Rustic Arrow Co.

The Rustic Arrow Co. is owned and operated by one of our very own Dellrose homeowners. Browse their online shop for decorative door hangers and wreaths that elevate the look of your home’s exterior.

10. Backdoor Pizza

Backdoor Pizza is a family-owned restaurant that has been serving the Hockley area since 2010. Here, you can dine in or take out and enjoy pizzas, calzones, sandwiches, burgers, pastas, salads and more.

11. The Skin I’m In
