Santa Claus himself made a special appearance at Snow Day at Dellrose, journeying from the North Pole to spread joy and take photos with delighted eventgoers. Over 200 families had the chance to snap pictures with the jolly old man, taking home cherished memories of the day. To ensure no wish went unnoticed, kids also had the opportunity to write letters for Santa to carry back to his workshop.
Children reveled in the snowy delights, zipping down the sledding hill and partaking in spirited snowball fights. The chilly weather ensured that children’s snowmen creations stood tall throughout the day, creating a whimsical winter landscape.
The Gingerbread House Competition stole the show as it does each year, with 12 creatively adorned entries. The Hamilton family claimed first place, followed by the Stibora family in second, and the Ross family securing third. Join us in congratulating our winners!
Fourteen local artisans showcased their talents with homemade goods and unique trinkets, providing the perfect opportunity for holiday shopping. Amidst the festivities, the community showed its generous spirit by collecting dozens of new toys for Toys for Tots. These contributions will brighten the holidays for local children who are in need. A heartfelt thank you to all who participated and contributed to this meaningful cause.
